I am a stonecarver, artist, and mason from the Berkshires. Somewhere between artist, designer, artisan, and craftsman lies my impetus, a desire to shape material, space, and experience with the touch of the hands and through an organic process and rhythm. The physical marks we leave on the world should be thoughtful, deliberate, skillful, and original (from an origin, a source, which is not to say unprecedented).  Currently, I am working on an M.Arch degree with the hopes of bringing a similar sensibility to architecture.

Dear soul, if you were not friends
with the vast nothing inside,
why would you always be casting your net
into it, and waiting so patiently?
